60-hours before their in-person event, the CDC announced regulations recommending groups of 50 or more were not to gather. This event was to have more than 700 guests in attendance to raise $300,000 for their community. Quick communications and pivots to an online event needed to happen to ensure these crucial funds could be raised.
The day before event day, became production day with testimonials being taped and the auctioneer describing live auction items. Two online platforms were used – YouTube and Facebook Live as well as two online giving tools: 1. Auction Harmony for the auction and 2. OneCause for online donations. Everything went seamlessly and the client ended up exceeding their fundraising goals and earning amazing accolades along the way.
